“0n april 6 2025 i set on writing a batch of rock and roll songs. the first song i wrote for the project stated with a boogie woogie piano bass and went on from there. on april 30th i wrote the last two tracks on the album and 13 songs were collected. songwriting sessions included making a rough demo of the track. came back in may to make solo acoustic cassette versions after transcribing the original demos. in june invited nate over to the studio and jammed on the songs improving new sections. july set to record new demos using primarily a new organ and more banjo than guitar. then august 15-17 recorded the album. throughout september i had been playing with the idea of the album being a radioshow. as though the album is being premiered live on the radio, and you are lucky to have tuned in. i mixed what i titled Rock and Roll Radio. then in october went back over to remix after a listen. and that is the album Rock and Roll.”
